Beck! (it appears on Cold Brains & Nobody's Fault single(?)) have you heard the Oak Canyon concert where "one of these days" appears? a friend recorded it for me (with more Beck's concerts) and i could discover a lot of songs, moments that i had read about but that they were music at last! it was like a miracle. other good songs of that concert, for me, are "atmospheric conditions" -Beck sings with the heart, "dead melodies", "the golden age" & "nobody's fault" . i'd wish i could hear some of those songs in a concert! One Of These Days is one of my fave Bek songs by far. i cant really explain why; its just v. relaxing . also, i like where the beat kicks in at around 1min 45.

i'm glad that you like the song, it's also one of my favourite Bek's songs
 . i'm in love with it, it transmits magic as other Beck's songs like "girl dreams" or "dead melodies". i've looked for info about the song, and it was recorded in the "Mutations" sessions. However Beck could have composed it, according to seacap, in the "Golden Feelings" epoch because there are two lines in a song of that album which are the same as in "one of these days"... i dont think there is a live version anywhere unfortunately
