I had no idea it was Gadson that drummed on some of my favorite soul/funk songs!!! (as well as beck stuff) How incredible to hear his take and story on all that..

now I have a super appreciation for him.


beck seems to get all the right people- from what I remember he once recruited neil young's guitar specialist or something?

Agree! I enjoyed listening to this interview with James last night. He has played on some of the funkiest records ever! And I loved when he said of working with Beck, ''He always pulls something special out of the hat.'' :D
