Angel Oresanz Center

The Acoustic Show

my favorite beck bootleg. he's so talkative and the band sounds great. songs are awesome.
my name is michael.

Evil Michael: "I'll do whatever I want!" He says in a sly voice, and then walks over and slaps Dora in the face...she falls to the floor "Gotta keep 'em bitches in line, eh? Keep the pimp hand strong"

Liquid Room, 2003-03-3--excellent sound/recording as well as performance

Ben went on at his shambling trot, clinging
to the fence, wailing in his hoarse, hopeless voice.
The man played and went on, Ben keeping pace
with him until the fence turned at right angles,
and he clung to the fence, watching the people
move on and away.

Ridiculously awesome suggestions so far. I downloaded a test track from the ones I haven't heard yet, all were superb - although I don't think 10.22.06 (Angel Oresanz Center) is in the same league as the others. And I couldn't figure out which show is Oakwood 2000.

Shows I highly recommend, strictly taking sound quality into account:

Sep 6, 1997 Sessions @ W 54th

Nov 19 1999 Holland

Aug 18 2000 Bizarre Festival, Germany

Jan 13 2001 Rock in Rio 3, Rio de Janeiro

Aug 30 2002 Los Angeles

June 10 2005 Southside Festival

I haven't ventured into the Beck bootleg world outside of proper "scene" releases, but like what I'm finding on this site and the hub thus far.

Definitely interested in feedback and suggestions from others as to "must have" shows from a sound quality perspective. I'm especially interested in more recent shows with songs from The Information and/or Modern Guilt. Best one I could find so far is this:

Aug 31 2008 San Francisco
I got it here (head's up, FLAC, so huge files)

nice post!

for sound quality, I'd also rec Bonnaroo 2006

there's a couple good MoGu shows -- can't remember them all off my head right now, but the Yahoo Hackday show has great sound
