Ham posted about this on her blog, and I couldn't understand it very well because it was in Japanese, so she helped fill in the blanks:

Takahiro Miyashita, former NUMBER (N)INE designer and also a friend of Beck's, now has a new venture called the Soloist, and one day recently seven new Beck songs were played in a Soloist shop. Ham says that all seven were short instrumental pieces, avant garde music, mostly guitar. A salesclerk said there is no plan to release the songs. B&W photos of Beck's children were displayed on the wall.
