The only other person I know who's is going is Jackie, a Beck fan on my Tumblr/Facebook.  (I tried to get her to come over here with no luck.)

I'm still not 100% sure myself because I still have to get the time off work, buy plane tickets, schedule accommodations, etc.  But as of now I don't see any problems.

Hi guys! Biggest Beck fan from Denmark here :-) It's been a while since I've last posted anything here, but hey, I'm going to the Santa Barbara-concert too :-D

I happen to be travelling the US by car with my girlfriend and by pure chance we're in Santa Barbara the 24th! Just bought the tickets and feel SO excited :-)

I've always been so envious of you guys being able to see Beck in the US - finally I'm one of the guys going!

Here's a question for those of you more experienced Beck fans:

how early should I get to the venue so I get a good spot close to the stage?

Uh there's a pit?  

If you're in the pit, I bet it will be pretty easy to get close to the stage, since isn't most of it an ampitheatre?  So you might not have to be THAT early.  And evne if you're not you're going to be very close.

I was looking at pictures of the venue and the general admission area (or 'the pit') seems somewhat large, so I'll probably try to be there early so that I am not too far back. I am thinking maybe...2hrs early (5pm)? What do you think?
