it's a photo program. and you can do all kinds of editing with it. just about anything you can think of.
i use this to make gifs. well this and virtualdub. cause i have to get the pictures off of the video first. so i use a video program first. then use this.
it's free too.

"why is the default never the best"
take this site for example.
the default is good.
it says quote.
"Good" is the right choice for most PDF. The higher the quality, the bigger the JPG.
no dumb ass.
