seriously, all the ones Ive looked at have a kind of torpor to them. but there must be some lively ones out there without ones having to resort to visiting sites of, say, people named "Britney"...

suggestions...?

I've mentioned this elsewhere, but one bulletin board site that's kind of fun to read is the velvet rope.

It's mostly music industry and artist news and gossip, though films & TV also come into play.

For the debras?

I guess for bulletin boards, it really depends on whose music you like. The Flaming Lips site has a nice board, but it moves very quickly, so you have to be around alot to keep up, and it's a bit cliquish. On the other hand, the folks on the White Stripes board seem strangely vicious.

I'm not sure I know of any that are not performer-specific....I'll have to look through my bookmarks.

Hehe...for some reason I was interpreting it backwards, like you knew alot of people named Debra and you wanted to start a website for them to hang out at....Now I get what you were saying (duh).

Heh. Yeah, that was one reason I mentioned VR, 'cause it usually leads you down different, more specific paths. :)

yeah, theyve got a lot going on there, its interesting. i never can find enough lyric sites sometimes, im hoping that indie list has some good stuff. though i always go back to looking at the lyrics i really like by beck and my other faves. 'leave me on the moon'--i never saw this one before, even though i look at beck lyrics all the time. these are nice.

(ps Im listening to that download of LMOTM and you know, it really sounds like a striptease. lol)

Muse-Official

i like the audio player on here - you can choose from loads of shows. i should set up a similar thing (much more advanced than my current one) so that you could perhaps listen to a complete live set or rarities.

tiz a great site :)
