Southlander,
the film in which Bek appears is to finally get its release on DVD. The film,
made in 1999 and 2000, was directed by Steve Hanft, who has directed music
videos for Bek in the past.
It follows the journey of a struggling musician making his way through Los Angeles trying to find his stolen keyboard. Bek plays himself from the early 90's and features twice in musical sequances in the film.
Beth Orton, Ross Harris, Hank Williams III, Rory Cochrane and Laura Prepon also have parts in the film.
The DVD is to be released on 7th October and includes deleted/extended scenes, photo gallery, trailer and commentary from Steve Hanft and Ross Harris.
